James Helmkamp Dr. Jim Helmkamp, a native of Akron, Ohio, graduated from the University of Akron in 1979 and The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1983. He spent 3 years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps, then began practicing in Auburn in 1986. He resides in Auburn with his wife Jill and daughter Annie.

  • MAGD – Masters from the Academy of General Dentistry - the individual must complete a minimum of 1,100 hours in approved continuing dental education.
